Groove 207 Policies
GENERAL GUIDELINES

Wear comfortable clothing and remove street shoes upon entering the space where dance classes are held.

Shoes that have never been worn outside are REQUIRED in order for dancers to participate, unless otherwise noted. If a dancer arrives with the intent to dance in street-worn shoes, the dancer will be asked to participate either in socks or barefoot.

Bring a water bottle; there are water fountains on-site.

Please leave personal belongings in the designated areas. No cell phones, bags or open food containers in the studio.

Restrooms are available that may be used as a changing space.

Every student is required to check in with the instructor prior to class, if you show up late please check in afterward. Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class to allow plenty of time to check-in with the instructor/provide payment (if haven’t paid ahead) and settle in.

Students are required to sign the Waiver when filling out the registration form, in order to participate in class.

Please silence mobile devices upon entering.

Please be mindful of your surroundings during class, ensuring adequate spacing between all dancers.

Recognize that everyone is on their own journey, always be respectful toward fellow dancers.
LOSS OR THEFT OF MEMBERS’ PROPERTY

Groove 207 is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Storage spaces are offered without any representation that they will be effective in protecting valuables.
DRESS CODE

Proper athletic attire is required. No street shoes are permitted in the studio area, shoes must have never been worn outside. If a dancer is not wearing the proper shoes, the dancer will be asked to dance in socks or barefoot. Dance instructor(s) have the right to prevent participation in a class if proper attire is not worn.
CANCELLATION POLICY & REFUNDS

You must cancel at least 4 hours prior to the start of class by emailing groove207me@gmail.com. Payment will not be refunded less than 4 hours before the start of class. Please be mindful of our cancellation policy as we have limited space available for dancers.
COVID-19 POLICY

If you have COVID-19, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to another person who has COVID-19 please do not come to class.

Mask and vaccine requirements will be dependent on CDC guidelines as well as the guidelines of each location where class is held.
